Algal Bloom Monitoring

We are expects at monitoring and forecasting harmful algae blooms - both in freshwater lakes and coastal accumulations. Using satellite & drone imagery, when combined with our AI algorithms, we can analyse the density, coverage and track the movement of coastal algal blooms, to mitigate harmful effects of blooms on coastal ecosystems. In freshwater lakes, we monitor both the catchment area and the lake itself, combining metrics such as agricultural and wastewater runoff with satellite imagery on temperature, rainfall and wind to predict the occurrance of blooms, allowing management agencies to make early interventions to prevent widescale bloom activity.
